before i head off to my friend's place for new year's eve (nope, not mahjong anymore. we'll just gather around the living room and stare at each other's faces), i thought i should give a closure to 2012.

woohoo, the world didnt end. we survived 2012. then again i didnt expect the world to end either.  catastrophes always catch people off guard, dont they?

2012 was a period of ups and downs. the best part was nonetheless my trip to Europe in May. i stepped out of my comfort zone into a, well, more comfortable zone to experience a different lifestyle, appreciate new culture and set me contemplating if i should work overseas should i be given the chance to. tbh it kinda sucks living here where housing, car prices are soaring, transport system degrading and the paper chase becoming ever more excruciating.

okay, i digressed.

unlike some people (not referring to anyone, just a general coined phrase), i really do not wish 2013 to be as dramatic as 2012. it made me think about the fragility and vulnerability of relationships, in general. (not just referring to BGR). it's no one to blame, maybe its just not meant to be.

okay i'm running late, so that's all folks. at least for 2012.

2013 shall be an amazing year. well we dont know if its going to be, but we all love to hear only the good things dont we.
